Mozilla Thunderbird 2 Beta 2 Released

Scott MacGregor writes: "Mozilla Thunderbird 2 Beta 2 is now available. Features new to Thunderbird 2 include message tags, folder views, session navigation history, a visual refresh of the theme, and improved new mail notification alerts."

Mozilla Thunderbird 2 Beta 2 includes a theme update for Mac OS X, improved message preview text in new mail alerts, easy account setup for gmail and .Mac accounts, and many bug fixes based on Beta 1 feedback. It is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux in over 30 languages. en-US beta 1 users will receive beta 2 via automatic software update.

Hasn't been released yet - he's referring to pre-alpha nightly builds. If you want to give the latest nightly build a try, just grab it from the links at the bottom of the lightning download page - <http://www.mozilla.org/pr…r/lightning/download.html>

As it says on that page though "Please be aware, that the use of nightly developer builds has risks associated with it. Don't use them with production data, as dataloss and other scary things can occur. We're not kidding."
