Isn't gstreamer a GNOME-only embeddable streaming media object or something? What exactly will this do and will it be cross-platform?

I've just started website.mozdev.org http://website.mozdev.org It's about mozdev.org The Website. Currently I'm just slowy cleaning up the pages so that they validate at http://validator.w3.org/ . I will need all the project owners' help with this. I'm thinking of changing the site to use html for content and css for style so that it will be easier to mantain and can show off css stuff with moz ;-) . I'm wondering what the mozdev.org project owners/contributers/users and visitors think though. If anyone has an opinion about it, please speak up!!
