Towards Mozilla 1.0
Tuesday June 26th, 2001
Gervase Markham recently posted his feelings on what a 1.0 release of Mozilla would be. Gerv has sent us the follow-up to that posting, including much of the feedback he received. To read it, click the full article link. Once you have read through it, we welcome you to post your feelings on what you think a 1.0 release would have. [As Gerv says, please don't post your favorite list of bugs, only the criteria for choosing what bugs to fix.]

I agree totally on this one. The geometry thing is really annoying, although the one copy per user thing doesn't affect me because of the outstanding packages in Debian right now. I'd also like to see an option to fire up something like mutt, kmail, or evolution instead of Mozilla's email client. Unix philosophy and all.
My big one for the Mac is the key command to switch windows, due to the Mac's particular windowing system. It's one thing that makes me want to use IE instead of Fizzilla on OSX, even though Fizzilla outperforms the IE preview by a lot.
