This is not my experience; IE seems to be slightly more stable than Mozilla at this point. I would put it at

IE > Mozilla >> Netscape 4.x

at this point. Still, I find IE and Mozilla's level of stability at the "barely tolerable" level -- they crash several times a day for me (!). Still much better than NS 4.x which crashes several times an hour (!).
