Towards Mozilla 1.0
Tuesday June 26th, 2001
Gervase Markham recently posted his feelings on what a 1.0 release of Mozilla would be. Gerv has sent us the follow-up to that posting, including much of the feedback he received. To read it, click the full article link. Once you have read through it, we welcome you to post your feelings on what you think a 1.0 release would have. [As Gerv says, please don't post your favorite list of bugs, only the criteria for choosing what bugs to fix.]
#44 Existing patches

I propose a major push to check in or discard existing patches. At last check, there were over 450 open bugs with the patch keyword, which translates to 450 bugs that at least someone thinks they've fixed. These patches arr from outside netscape.com, and sometimes it can be difficult for outsiders to get a review and super review, or even any attention at all. It would be cool if the major project contributors could set aside a week or so to comb through the existing patches. This might fix a lot of issues!
