Gervase Markham recently posted his feelings on what a 1.0 release of Mozilla would be. Gerv has sent us the follow-up to that posting, including much of the feedback he received. To read it, click the full article link. Once you have read through it, we welcome you to post your feelings on what you think a 1.0 release would have. [As Gerv says, please don't post your favorite list of bugs, only the criteria for choosing what bugs to fix.]

One thing I\'d really like to see in 1.0 is this <> . It\'s targetted for 1.0, but of course it could be put off. I hope it isn\'t because it would really help Mozilla\'s efforts. If people try Mozilla, and see a page rendered wrongly and then notice that it is because of the poor quality of the page, then they will be more inclined to blame the page designer than Mozilla.

I think this would really encourage people to clean up their sites, and of course that would lead to better rendering in Mozilla.
