Gervase Markham recently posted his feelings on what a 1.0 release of Mozilla would be. Gerv has sent us the follow-up to that posting, including much of the feedback he received. To read it, click the full article link. Once you have read through it, we welcome you to post your feelings on what you think a 1.0 release would have. I agree that UI polish should be a top priority.

Ever seen sites that use hyperlinks that look like regular text? They look like links (blue, underlined) only when you move the mouse over them. These make the site annoying because links are harder to find. It's features for the sake of features.

And now the Mozilla Personal Toolbar is doing the same thing. It's copying a bad web design trick. Even if it's not bad web design, is it really a good idea to make the Toolbar behave like a web page? I think it just makes it more confusing to new users.
