Towards Mozilla 1.0
Tuesday June 26th, 2001
Gervase Markham recently posted his feelings on what a 1.0 release of Mozilla would be. Gerv has sent us the follow-up to that posting, including much of the feedback he received. To read it, click the full article link. Once you have read through it, we welcome you to post your feelings on what you think a 1.0 release would have. [As Gerv says, please don't post your favorite list of bugs, only the criteria for choosing what bugs to fix.]

I agree with you. I think the documentation for example how to build your own Mozilla distrubition is pretty poor. There are some steps on howto but thats it. When i compiled I got an error that was something I never heard of so I gave it up pretty fast. If I had got involved better from the beginning Im pretty sure I would be a master today on compiling Mozilla :) but today Mozilla is that big so it needs more documentation how to use it.
I also thinks their need to be (more) communitys in the developing process like you are talking about where the "beginner developers" could meet and develop their own Moz applications.
