Gervase Markham recently posted his feelings on what a 1.0 release of Mozilla would be. Gerv has sent us the follow-up to that posting, including much of the feedback he received. To read it, click the full article link. Once you have read through it, we welcome you to post your feelings on what you think a 1.0 release would have. [As Gerv says, please don't post your favorite list of bugs, only the criteria for choosing what bugs to fix.]

Some people have been complaining that Benchmarks are too hard to create, and are too hard to set goals with.

Here, use this one. And I say "Beat IE5.5 on either windows or Mac": <http://i-bench.zdnet.com/ibench/i-bench.htm>

A little more proof that news sites do create benchmarks: <http://www.cnet.com/inter…1-3.txt.3779-8-3607741-10>

I can't understand the mindset that one must have to decide that suddenly benchmarks aren't accurate enough an appraisal, and to pretend that they simply can't exist.
