We have a new poll up now, asking what you feel the name for Mozilla's mail and news components should be.

While the slowly increasing numbers were nice to watch on the last poll (and I do actually find the results interesting) it's great to see a new poll.
#2 new mail/news name

with mozilla using terms like \"seamonkey\", \"tinderbox\", \"bonsai\", etc. for its products and divisions, shouldn\'t there be more, well, creative name choices than \"mailer\" or \"dispatcher\" or roman/greek gods?
how about something like \"roadrunner\" or \"firewalker\" or \"telegraph\" or even \"cubbyhole\" for that matter? anything less obvious would at least add some color - even \"collabra\" and \"communicator\" were better word choices.
#3 NO poll yet please

Why do we have this poll? As I said on .mail-news, I'd like to see a *contest* to gather more ideas first, *not* a poll. I don't like any of the options.
I completely agree with ratman that the current suggestions lack creativity.
#4 too late

Ben(B) I don't see anything wrong with this poll. If you would like to send in poll suggestions to mozillazine then do so. This poll was suggested by a mozilla/zine contributor and I think it's great to have something new in which to express my opinions. If yuo don't like any of the suggestions then maks some of your own. The poll has a talkback all to itself. I've been watching mozillazine polls since they first came online and I can say that much of what is interesting to me (and I assume others) is the discussion that happens in the poll talkback.
