"I've been thinking for a while that there needed to be a way for mozilla-based projects to trumpet their recent achievements even when there isn't enough news for a full story, so I collected some status reports from several projects and I'll be posting them here about once a week. Featured this week: Beonex, MozDev.org, Games.MozDev.org,
ForumZilla, the Links Panel, the Amoeba game engine, and the Snippets project. Enjoy!"

I noticed a few days ago that the Mozilla sidebar client for Jabber (the new XML-based IM system) is in beta, albeit beta 0.
It's available at mozdev.org I think.

I can't belive that there are peoples which finds differents between beonex and mozilla-win32-installer.exe
There were people who found "significant" differences between Netscape 6 and Mozilla 0.6 too, oddly enough even though they are almost identical in code.
Although current nightlies should be much more advanced than Beonex, since correct me if I'm wrong but the current Beonex is based on something closer to Mozilla 0.6.

NS6 have things that mozilla don't as big slowness, but beonex is just like mozilla with version on which beonex is based.:))) if mozilla have on man who can gives some commerisal support and sells mozilla, maybe there will be peoples that will think that commersial mozilla is more stable and fast than open-source version :))))))
...get their money and they will have respect....
:))))
Ahh. I see. like jabber.com is to jabber.org??? Sounds promising...
ooo.. wait!! There is one.. it's
.....Netscape.com....
seems they have done the oposite odoesn't it?
Cheers
Mozilla is made for developers (and testers and distributors) only. Beonex Communicator is made for end-users.
Beonex Comm. is based on the Netscape 6.0 branch (which is very close to Mozilla 0.6).
We haven't made a new release yet, because I haven't yet seen a Mozilla build that would exceed the Mozilla 0.6 quality. The current trunk is very poor. Lots of stuff doesn't work. You may cope with that, but end-users won't.
Maybe we'll release a "dev" version soon.
How do I get the moz space invaders game to work after I download it?
I think that is a question you should ask on the games mailing list, or directly by mailing the coder of the game, he is probably more familiar with his game that we are :-)
I was always wondering what was going on with these!
