Last but not least, Will Sargent pointed us to an experimental script that allows you to create a Mozilla sidebar panel for an RSS data source of your choice.
IMO you should do exactly what you do with the main links - which currently means link to the build.
And why not use FTP? It is more efficient and everyone supports it, don't they?
