Waldo checks in with: "Jabbercentral is reporting the *GREAT* news that there's now an alpha version of Jabberzilla -- an xplatform, xul-based version of the Jabber client. Jabber is a peer-to-peer messanging system that is XML-based and lets you use Instant Message systems like AIM, ICQ, IRC, MSN, Yahoo Chat, etc. from a single application."

It's good to see that this project is firmly off the ground. It's not really usable yet (i.e. no visual indicators whether or not someone's online, the chat window isn't there yet)... but it's still nice to see Jabber on the Mozilla sidebar. Kudos to the developers and keep up the good work.
