Bug Day!
Tuesday August 8th, 2000
Asa Dotzler writes in: "Another Tuesday and another BugDay. With the recent releases of Mozilla
M17 and netscape's pr2 we're looking forward to a flood of new folks
getting involved and the resulting deluge of new bug reports. If you're
new to the project and would like some help with that first bug report
then join us for BugDay today on irc.mozilla.org channel #mozillazine.
If you've participated in BugDays before please stop in and give us a
hand with all the new reports and the new reporters.
BugDay is a collaborative effort to find, report and triage new bugs in
Mozilla. We meet every Tuesday afternoon and work into the night (USA
time). BugDay is a great oportunity to get help reporting that first
bug, to learn to use Bugzilla (mozilla.org's bug reporting and searching
tool), to get verification across platforms for newly discovered bugs
(we ususally have the major platforms represented), and to help out the
Quality Assurance team in pre-screening newly reported bugs and
verifying resolved bugs. BugDay is the perfect place to get started
helping out and a great way to make mozilla better faster. Hope to see
you all there."
Participating in Bug Day is a great way to help make Mozilla a better browser. Grab a build and come join us!
