2nd Mozilla Developer Meeting Schedule FinalizedTuesday August 1st, 2000The schedule for the 2nd Mozilla Developer Meeting has been finalized. You can read all about it at the Alphanumerica site. The T-Shirt design has also been finalized, and you can see it there, as well. If you're going to LinuxWorld in San Jose (August 14th-17th), why not come to the developer meeting the next day (Friday, the 18th), at the Netscape campus? You can meet the Mozilla developers, talk about all things Mozilla, eat free food, and get a free T-Shirt. If you're interested, be sure to register, either by joining the meetzilla mailing list, or RSVPing to mozilla@alphanumerica.com. Ok, SURE it's a great place to meet other mozillaphiles, exchange info, learn about the state of the code, how to write XUL, or just put a face to a name you've been e-mailing for months or seeing on the newsgroups. But in case you missed it above-- YOU GET A FREE T-SHIRT! I swear to god, I am the envy of all I meet whilst wearing my ultracool orange-on-black "hack mozilla" shirt I got at the first meeting. Beleive it or not, I've had actual strangers recognize the lizard and ask questions. Now go check out the cool shirt design (sure to be a collector's item) on Alphanumerica's site and sign up! ;) W How about Mozilla.org / Mozillazine.org bring out a more general t-shirt along the lines of 'I support Mozilla' for those of us who support the open source Mozilla effort yet are not 'true' developers and code-hackers? For those of us who don't attend a developer's meeting and just basically live too darn far away. We support Mozilla too! :-) Well just a thought. KD |
