New MozillaZine Features
Wednesday October 14th, 1998
Sorry, but they aren't here yet. Actually that's the purpose of this post... what feature is mozillaZine lacking that you'd like to see? From interactive additions like glossaries and chat forums to promotions like T-shirts and mugs, I'm interested in any new additions that you think would help make the site one that you'd revisit more often and recommend to your friends. I've included an idea for an "interactive glossary" in the attached article to get you started. Click "Full Article" below. Or, just respond with your ideas in the talkback section. Remember, this site is run by a rather small group, so keep the suggestions within the realm of reason!

How about a "Web Techniques" gallery that showcases or provides a mini tutorial on a partcular Mozilla technology. I am seeing bits and pieces of it including Chrome editing, and smartmail, but information and real examples are lacking. If anyone has an example of a new Mozilla technology they are exploiting they can submit it to the gallery to benefit us all.

How about a new random picture everytime you visit the site ala tinderbox.

Depending on the disk space and bandwidth you have available, a user-contributed screen shot gallery might be interesting. We could take a peek at different builds that people get running on different platforms.

Regardless of new features, this site is already great and it's one of my daily stops. Keep the news going, it will only get busier as the release date approaches!

About the T-shirts and mugs... I'd like Mozilla-related merchandize to add to my geek wardrobe and such. I don't know if it's realistic, and I'm sure there are some other people who would like to get something from mozillaZine as well.

I too would like a t-shirt or maybe some other items. Sounds very realistic to me.

This is allready a great site, but i think it needs a wishlist. It should have a voting system like sun's bugparade so that the developpers can see what ideas they should concentrate on first.

a wish list could be cool
http://www.jcinteractive.com/nswishlist/
you could use his wish list to get started or you could have a section whare people could submit their crome styles? Or could you write more editorials?? Also keep up those interviews those are cool, too.
that's my 2 cents..
