Netscape Job Opening: Software QA Test Engineer

The job description:

Responsible for testing Netscape's web client product. This includes the creation of new test suites for Browser UI/UE components, maintenance of existing test suites, defining test plans and test specifications, execution of test cases, problem research, reporting and follow up for product failures. QA engineer will also be responsible for assisting to define the processes required to promote the overall quality of the product.

Required:

The successful candidate will have broad knowledge in several Internet/browser technical areas, and a solid understanding of software quality assurance practices. S/he will be expected to communicate clearly and effectively. The position calls for someone who can be an active team participant, who can provide technical leadership, is capable of identifying complex problems and choosing appropriate solutions. Knowledge in multiple operating systems - Win32, Mac and/or Linux.

Preferred:

2-4 years QA experience. Bachelors in CS or equivilent.

I don't know, but here's a brief rundown on the current progress:

m17 nightly builds have some major bugs and regressions, mostly DOCTYPE/layout related.

m16 nightlies builds don't have this, and are pretty good.
