New WYSIWYG XUL Builder: Cocktail

Wednesday June 7th, 2000

Ryuzi Kambe, editor of the Japanese Translation of Mozillazine, writes, "I found good news for XUL developers [in] netscape.public.mozilla.xpfe."

The good news is Cocktail, an app for building Java Swing applications that has been expanded to produce XUL code as well (which can be used to create Mozilla-based apps). Cocktail stores the UI structure in an XML-tree view, and enforces a Model/View/Controller architecture to simplify application development. To find out more, visit the Cocktail area at the Applese website.
