Another Great Intro to Mozilla's TechnologiesThursday May 18th, 2000[How times change, eh? He really was ok at one point, honest!] Mike Angelo has done up the first of a series of articles on XUL and Mozilla's customizability. Titled "MozillaQuest: Building Your Own Browser Part 1", Mike goes through the process of changing various elements of Mozilla's current skin (using M15). He even supplies a resource page where you can grab all of the images used in his examples. Although a lot of the core of Mozilla's UI code has been reorganized recently, this is still a great way to get familiar with the basics of altering the UI. n/t |
