Happy Anniversary, Moz!!!

Friday March 31st, 2000

It was two years ago today that the original bits were pushed to the ftp servers, and Mozilla officially became Open Source. Two years later, and there's little left of that original distribution in the current Moz, but we're still quite fond of him. Don't forget, the anniversary party is next Thursday (April 6), and the Developer Meeting the next day!

The night slides away, from east to west, letting the daylight shine again. The sun climbs over mountains, and lights the rubble, but the rubble is not there! Giant foot steps are all that it to be seen! They point north, and giant cracks form in the earth. The sun breaks fre of the horizon, and a deafening sound breaks free from the lungs of the Lizard. It is Mozilla, and it is angry! After it's long, long sleep, it is awake, larger than ever. Lounder, faster, more powerful than anything ever before seen! It now is bearing down on a small clearing to the Northwest!

It is Mozilla, it is angry, and a new Clash of the Titans is about to begin. The sleeping giant sits, in it's house, with pretty colored Windows, but it is unaware of it's coming doom. It speaks to it's servants and followers.

And the beast shall come forth surrounded by a roiling cloud of vengeance. The house of the unbelievers shall be razed and they shall be scorched to the earth. Their tags shall blink until the end of days.

Just a little note! GO MOZILLA!
