Why Gecko Matters...

Jeffery Zeldman of both The Web Standards Project and A List Apart has written an interesting article about Gecko, and why it will be a web developer's godsend, thanks to its vast standards support, and availability on a variety of platforms.

s/he's damn right: i am using the m14 build on win98 to read an article about web standards and how compliant gecko will be... and it doesn't f*?!ing work! and i mean: simple links don't work. i'd love this thing to work but i don't see it happening especially not in the time frame they seem to have set themselves (release a beta within the next 3-4 weeks). and it shouldn't happen as long as it is not even half way perfect. a few weeks more won't hurt anyone..
