Database Problems
Thursday February 3rd, 2000
We had a database problem, and our host reset our database, and we lost content that appeared over the past day. This content includes submissions and forum posts. We were able to recover the news item that went up yesterday by grabbing its content from our static front page. However, any posts for it or any other forum over the past day or so have been lost. Please feel free to repost. Also, if you have submitted news items relevant to Mozilla over the past day, please resubmit them, because they are no longer in our database.
Sorry for any problems this may have caused...

Chris, if you want to get back yesterdays loast data, you can get it from your apache http access logs.
All form data is in there.
I have done this before and although a little painful it does work.
Provided that the apache log files were not lost.

Most people don't log POST data, only GET stuff.
