Mac Development Moving to CodeWarrior 5Tuesday February 1st, 2000Scott Collins writes in with news important to all Mac Mozilla developers. Scott writes, "We are planning on upgrading the Mac development environment to CodeWarrior Pro 5 with the current publicly released patches (5.3). This is a big deal that the Mac community has been clamoring for for some time. However, it will be a major hiccup in our local development. All developers will need to upgrade their environment at the same time. Our plan is to make the switch on or about Monday 7 February 2000. The bug # we are using to track this is 25949 Mike Pinkerton recently posted to n.p.m.mac on the subject." If you have any questions, I would suggest posting them to the n.p.m.mac newsgroup. will the change mean anything as far as more efficient/better/faster/smaller/etc. binaries? (Ie, what are the differences between cw 4/5 as far as the end-product goes) Just wondering. I haven't used code warrior since like '95. W |
