CSS2 Tutorial at Zvon

Monday January 31st, 2000

Miloslav Nic writes, "I have just published the first version of the CSS2 tutorial at the Zvon site. It contains at this moment 50+ XML sources with 100+ simple stylesheets.

You need the Mozilla browser to see the examples. I will add support for more browsers (i.e. IE) when they reasonably support CSS2."

Thanks Miloslav. A great introduction to CSS2 (and the fact that Mozilla already supports much of it). If you want to try out the examples, use M13 - I've noticed that the CSS isn't getting applied in every example in the latest builds (if you stop and reload the example, it'll display properly). Yes, I'm filing a bug on this. :-)

You might like to try a Dynamic Styler script I wrote:

<http://its.gsu.edu/jsg/xml/styler/>

It basically presents you with all the stylesheets in a page, then all the rules, and all the properties for each rule. As you select a property and modify it, it gets applied in the other window real time. It works in M13, but is a bit messed up in later builds.

I bet composer already has something much better than this, but I haven't checked.
