W32: Minimize to Tray
please add an option to minimize Minotaur to the Windows System Tray, this is a pretty important feature for me, and probably everyone else with a low resolution who has his mail client open all the time but doesnt want to clutter up his taskbar...
and it's simple to add, I guess ;)

Until that feature is added, you can use this application to Minimize to Tray:

It would be nice, if Thunderbird is installed as an extension to Phoenix, that mail would continue to be checked as long as Phoenix is running even if Thunderbird isn't running. This could negate the need to have it sitting in the system tray.
I believe this feature has been in the Mozilla suite at some point but it doesn't seem to work anymore (last time I checked).

Ummm, not really as I keep my email client open longer than I keep my browser. I tend to close and open the browser many times during the day whereas my mail client (currently PocoMail) sits in the tray 24/7 checking mail
Minimize to tray is something that will swing me into having Minotaur above Poco.

thanks for the link, I tried it.. but when normally minimizing or traying a program, it also reduces it's memory usage.. (Minotaur maximized consumes 25.000k, Minotaur minimized only 1.160k!), but "PowerMenu" doesnt reduce the memory usage of a program, it just "hides" it and adds an icon to the systray :-/

tve, I agree with you on the Memory consumption thing. My whole purpose for registering at the forums is because I wanted to see if there was a way to minimize Minotaur to the tray. In Outlook you just edit a registy entry and blam, you've done it. Please, someone make a way to minimize to the tray and save on memory. Untill then, PowerMenu it is (and I'm happy that I have finally got a way to get that dang thing off the taskbar and still have it running).
