Move Spam feature enabled!

Post by urichter »

<a href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=181394">Bug 181394</a> "enable Move to Folder UI in junk mail dialog" and <a href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=181397">bug 181397</a> "automatically create Junk Mail folder at appropriate times" got checked in on 01/11 around 15:00.

With this, the way is free to enable the automatic junk filters (tools -> junk mail controls), and on first glance it seems to work in 2003011208 win32 zip builds.

Get it, hammer on it and enjoy junk filtering! 8)

Cool! I'm using this build now. Doesn't seem to be the most stable (crashed on me once, but only once) but moving the junk mail seems to work really good. When spam arrives in your mailbox it seems it doesn't trigger the "you've got new mail" icon for that inbox, so that worked out OK!

Try it! It makes the spam filter usefull.

When spam and real mail arrive together, especially in large amounts, the spam doesn't always get moved.

Anyone else seeing this?

I tried the latest trunk from Jan 18 and it crashed whenever I tried to install new themes at mozdev.org, I had to go back to the standard 1.3a on the mozilla.org main site.
