Quick update on the next few weeks

Post by Blake »

I know things have been slow lately around Phoenix (at least we pick up trunk fixes, though). I can't say how lively things will be over the holidays, but I do know that hyatt will have much more time to work on it after the holidays. And I'll be working on it too. I'm not sure about Pierre's schedule. We're targetting a 0.6 in January.

Don't worry, Blake. Many Phoenixers have used Mozilla before, thereby they learned to be patient... Enjoy the holidays!

i've been wondering why is apple paying hyatt to work on phoenix. chimera would be a more likely preference, no?
maybe he's doing it in his free time.

Who's saying Apple is paying David Hyatt to work on Phoenix?

AFAIK all involvment by developers in Phoenix is unpaid freetime.
Which just makes how much they have acomplished in so little time even more impressing :)

How about looking at some of the 20-odd bugs that currently have patches awaiting review?

I have often wondered about that odd expression "one and all". Makes me wonder who's the "one" wiseguy that doesn't want to be included in "all".

Keep up the good work though. This thing is getting better and better with every version.

I think when it hits 1.0 it will blow away IE!
