The easiest way is to read the many other threads about the topic.

Heck, there's an FAQ at the top of this forum.
Looks like Asa needs to relink his avatar.

I made a posting just a few minutes ago about this. Now I find this posting. I assume you have done the registry patch found here:
http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/resources/phoenix.reg
I found Flash only works just after it is installed. My practice was to copy and paste plugins from one nightly to the next, only lash stopped working. Recently I found Flash worked if I reinstalled it evrytime. A bit of a nuisance, but nothings perfect, even Firebird.

Even the best FAQ in the world is useless if nobody reads it :/
sticky topics should be highlighted with red background and shiny green blinking 25px fonts :)
..... they should really be highlighted in some way, so that they are more "separated" from other topics.. then more people would notice them.

In this case, I think adding the FAQ to the set of default Firebird bookmarks would possibly help. It is the one thing that Firebird Help doesn't cover in detail (that said, it is about the only thing it doesn't!), and which seems to be missed when people come to the forums.
In fact, I might go file an RFE right now about that...

How about...... On all the forum topics that a user visits....... all the sticky topics he hasnt yet gone to are listed. Saying "Sticky topics on this forum you havent read yet.... We reccommend you read these before you post anything to avoid unpleasent experience to everybody" ) well..... maybe the last part needs some rethinking.
Btw I always wonder who designes these forums... everybody doesnt seem to be using the same standard style.... Is it some sort of open source forum project? I couldnt find any link to such project on this forum pages....
