No 2003-05-05 or 2003-05-06 nightly?

Post by Codeman »

It doesn't look like there are any nightlies for 2003-05-05 or 2003-05-06. Is the build machine down again?

They're probably working on getting 0.6 out this week...

Not according to the checkins (http://ted.mielczarek.org/code/mozilla/ ... ckins.html) because bugger all's been happening the past few days. Very odd if you ask me.

Oh, ye of little faith...

Well I don't know. Two of those bugs are assigned to Ben who according to his blog is in the process of moving to Asia. Not sure how active Hyatt is at the moment either. Could be another few weeks until 0.6.

Also, new build fixes resize image graphic; so it would be worth having.

I'm still on 4/29 because of the image resize graphic bug yet =)

SFO is in Asia?! Sheesh, he's not going to have any luggage when he gets to California.

Sure, but one of them is just a one line patch (line 38 of mozilla/source/browser/components/prefwindow/locale/pref-privacy.dtd) which I would do myself if I had the slightest idea how to submit a patch. The other one's a little more work, since people seem to be not sure of redesigning the prefs panel.

But I don't think they would say the next week or so if they knew they wouldn't have it done.

Yeah. Ben's coming for the 0.6™ release party. And you're not invited. So nyah.

Besides, you live far away in a place where they say "yonks". Why don't you tell us where that is?

I heard a rumour that the Firebird project is dead...

Just kidding. I read somewhere else that the machine that makes the windows builds is an unattended machine and sometimes it just gets turned off or something happens so that it doesn't work, and no one notices for a couple of days.

Why Netscape/AOL can't afford a dedicated box for this task I don't know, but it's annoying.

But I'm perfectly happy with my current build anyway.
