Independent Status ReportsArchangel Update (RGTP client for Mozilla) by Thomas Thurman Today, Archangel reached v0.2.0. Most of the changes are behind the scenes, but there have been some improvements in the UI, including multiple columns in the index, better formatting in the item display, and a limited amount of hyperlinking. Check out the roadmap to see where things are going. Hovercraft Update (mozdev upgrade project) by Pete Collins Hovercraft 0.2 has been released. Hovercraft is an installable version of mozdev.org. It is distributed as a demo CD-ROM that will run on any x86 hardware. It does not touch your hard disk making it ideal to demo and try out great open source tools like Bugzilla, LXR, CVS, cvsweb etc. An installable version should be in 0.4. Then you can just grab any old box you have laying around and quickly and easily install your own mozdev type server. Take a look at the roadmap for more details. The plan is to migrate mozdev over to Hovercraft when it is ready. Once the essential tools are in place, I will proceed to develop a cross platform rich client based on Mozilla. StormZilla Update (Weather report browser add-on) by Robby Russell StormZilla is starting development finally. Come by the site to find out more about this project. If anyone is interested in helping out, I'm accepting artwork for the project now as well. mozdev Update (Free Mozilla-based project hosting site) by David Boswell I wanted to thank everyone who has contributed money or offers of assistance to mozdev.org. Over the last week we've had over 30 people make donations and several people have offered to volunteer their time helping out with the site.
