VBrowse Update (VXML 1.0/2.0 browser/interpreter)
by David Pautler

What's a voice browser? It's a program that interacts with users by playing audio prompts and listening for the response using speech recognition, where each interaction is driven by a VoiceXML document. VBrowse is a Java implementation that supports 40% of VMXL 1.0 so far. There's lots of fun stuff still to be done with Java Sound, speech rec, and telephony.

TagZilla Update (A tagline insertion and management system)
by David Perry

TagZilla 0.005 has just been released, with such enjoyable features as:
  • Numerous back-end fixes and cleanup
  • Added ability to steal taglines
  • Distinction made between Save and Save As
  • Dually licensed under MPL and GPL
To steal a tagline from an email or web page, just highlight it and right-click.

TagZilla will include better file management in the near future, and the much-requested multi-line tagline support in the not-as-near future.

... Don't worry, I'm go?ng t? b?ckup t?da?.

Plugindoc Update (Plug-in documentation)
by Alvaro Munoz-Aycuens

Plugindoc is still evolving, recently we have created a new layout and some info has been updated, the whole site has been translated to Spanish apart from current translations French, Chinese and Polish. Anyway work is far from done, we still need translations, more OSes covered and more Windows contributions. Thanks to all the people who have contributed with feedback and info.

K-Meleon Update (Gecko-based browser for Windows)
by Andrew I. Mutch

The K-Meleon team is continuing to beta test in preparation for the release of K-Meleon 0.7. If you are interested in testing the beta builds, please sign up on the developers list for more details.

While we have been beta testing, our coders continue to develop and improve the functionality of K-Meleon. Our newest beta incorporates two of Ulf Erickson's new plug-ins. The first allows Opera users to import their hotlists into K-Meleon. The second, the layers plug-in, provides a tabbed browsing interface for all those users who really want tabs. Ulf is incorporating improvements into both plug-ins based on the feedback of our users and beta testers. As always, anyone who wants to assist with coding, testing and helping users is welcome!
