Multizilla Update (Tab-based browsing feature for
Mozilla)
We are happy to see that mozilla.org, and Netscape btw, are implementing a MultiZilla look a like feature in the latest mozilla builds. We're proud that our project has lead to this. You might notice that the mozilla implementation is still very basic but at least there is a good start.
We will have a brand new MultiZilla Alpha release ready for download, after mozilla.org released it's mozilla 0.9.5. And if you compare the second and third release of MultiZilla, then you will notice what we have done the last couple of weeks.
The Third MultiZilla Alpha Release is updated to the latest XUL 1.0 changes and has several bug fixes and enhancements. You need to give it a try, if you didn't installed MultiZilla already before.
If you find bugs, please report them to us and we will work hard to fix the bug as soon as possible. We still can use more help. If you're interested in helping us improve MultiZilla, please feel free to send me your e-mail.
Optimoz Update (Optimizations for the Mozilla
browser)
The Optimoz project was founded to bring advanced interaction styles to Mozilla. While a long term goal is the implementation of pie menus, a feeback-less version has been implemented for gestural navigation in the browser. With a bit of attention in SlashDot, the package has had thousands of downloads, a bevy of bug reports, and a couple of very important patches from the community. Recent work has been on optimization and significant progress has been made. If you're not running version 0.2.1, please stop by and update.
